About Me
I have what I would call a “wandering soul.” I have a constant, nagging feeling of wanting to get up and go. Sometimes I don’t even know where I want to go! I just want to travel.
It could be another trip to Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando, a cruise ship I’ve never sailed on before, a visit to a Hawaiian island, or maybe traveling to those bucket list destinations around the world!
I was a Journalism major in college and started my professional career in television news. In 2010, having two young children at home, my career goals had changed. I took a hard look at what I wanted to be doing. My thoughts kept going back to travel, but how could I make this idea a career?
I decided to apply to be a travel agent at Liberty Travel. I was hired, and the rest is history. Travel became a passion I could not live without! I only stayed at the Liberty Travel store for one year, and in 2011 I started my own independent travel business, Spellbound Vacations, LLC. I am so happy with the decision I made.
I love to travel, read about travel, watch tv shows about travel and listen to podcasts about travel… you get the idea! And, I love helping others plan their perfect get-away!
Covid-19 hit my business hard, but I did not give up on my travel dreams or the travel dreams of my clients. During this time, I refocused and became an Independent Contractor under Independent by Liberty Travel. I was able to keep my company identity while having the support of a large, international travel corporation.
The one-on-one concierge-level services I provide my clients are what makes working as an independent agent so fulfilling! There is nothing better than sending a client on a much-anticipated one-of-a-kind vacation. The best part of it all is hearing what an amazing time they had!
Experience is the key! I feel very strongly that to be good at my job I must experience the destinations. My motto is “I go so you know”. I truly believe in this. I travel throughout the year on family vacations or training FAMs (familiarity trips) so I can better serve you. I specialize and book the locations that I know best; all Disney Destinations, Universal Orlando & Hollywood, Hawaii, Royal Caribbean, Disney, and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Sandals & Beaches Resorts.
My concierge services for clients who have booked their vacation package with me include, but are not limited to, itinerary planning, promotion monitoring, email reminders of important dates, and much, much more!
I am a Certified Travel Associate, a member of ASTA, an Iatan card holder, a graduate of Disney’s College of Knowledge, a Sandals/Beaches Certified Specialist, a Royal Caribbean Master of Adventure, a Norwegian Cruise Line Master Agent, a Universal Parks & Resorts Specialist, a Hawaii Destination Specialist, and a Maui Nui Master Agent!
